I usually get invited to the luncheon more so than not. HOWEVER! Last year when I did Greenland, I was soooooooooo far down the list, I am surprised they even let me onto the ship. Or made me shovel coal into the engine. But I made it this time. Yippppppeeee.

My one guest. Thankfully I was able to borrow John to be my walker, from his kind hubby Paul. (now if you don’t know what a LIVE walker is, not one made of metal, this goes back to the society days when a woman needed an escort to a function and her husband was busy or dead. think Babs Paley, Mrs. J. Astor, even Jackie O. they would get a gentleman, usually a “confirmed” bachelor to escort them) So I got John.

Now really. How exclusive can it be if they have me there I ask you?

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW GOOD. IT WAS A TOSS UP FOR ME, THE FISH OR THE LAMB. JOHN WAS KIND ENOUGH TO SAY HE’D MAKE THE CHOICE FOR ME.

NOT A GOOD CHOICE WAS JOHN’S PICK FOR ME. I REALLY DIDN’T ENJOY THE LAMB. YOU CAN SEE I LEFT THE BONES.
